WHO WE ARE
Friends in Action is a non-profit, Boise-based organization that recruits and trains volunteers to provide professional, non-medical assistance to frail seniors in their homes and community.
Our innovative program was launched in 2004 with a seed grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Since our early days we have grown to provide over 5000 hours of service each year. And we want to do so much more!
Without our volunteers, partners and donors who support us, the independence, the quality, and the dignity of our neighbors’ later years would be in jeopardy. We thank our coalition of partners who include:
