WHO WE ARE

Friends in Action recruits and trains volunteers to provide professional, non-medical assistance to frail seniors in their homes and community. Volunteers are also trained to provide nationally-recognized educational programs for family caregivers and people living with long term illness. Friends in Action is a program of the non-profit Mountain States Group, Inc.

Our innovative program was launched in 2004 with a seed grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Since our early days we have grown to provide over 6000 hours of service each year. And we want to do so much more!

Without our volunteers, partners and donors who support us, the independence, the quality, and the dignity of our neighbors' later years would be in jeopardy. We thank our Advisory Board Members and coalition of partners who include:
