Current Needs
Volunteers Needed
Make a difference in the lives of fragile elderly seniors trying to remain
independent, or for those caring for loved ones with severe age-related memory
loss. Faith in Action is an interfaith and community based organization.
- Urgent need for help with light
housekeeping and organizational chores for elderly lady with COPD. She also
needs help with her yard, and does not have her own lawn mower. (Near
Fairview and Curtis)
- Eagle area senior recovering from a
fall needs someone to help her with occasional grocery shopping and some
light housekeeping. (Lives off
of Highway 55, near Floating Feather Road)
- Have a skill you could share with a needy senior? We
have seniors in need of minor home repairs, for example: leaking faucets,
repairs to steps, windows, and ramps. We have dedicated funds for materials,
but could use your helping hands.
- Be part of a caregiver relief team.
Even individuals who can only volunteer a few hours a month can help
families in need as Caregiver Relief Team members.
- Be a volunteer at the C.A.R.E Club, an Adult Day
center for individuals with early stage memory loss, that is located at the
Cathedral of the Rockies in the North End. Play games, provide companionship
and conversation. The Club is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Volunteer for a few hours at a time that is convenient for
you!
